The 2018 Evenstad Reserve’ Pinot Noir is an excellent expression of the versatile terroir of Domaine Serene. The vineyards are located in the most beautiful part of the Willamette Valley, namely the Dundee Hills. The wine has a sparkling light ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of fresh blackberries and cherry compote. On the palate, the wine ripples with a velvety texture and compound tannins, with a crescendo of flavors of exotic spices, undergrowth, freshly sliced mushrooms and dark fruit. The wine is certainly already very accessible, but is also extremely suitable for graceful aging in the cellar.
